1. Wipe Down Equipment After Use
Sweat is normal — leaving it behind isn’t. Always clean benches, machines, and mats to keep the environment hygienic for the next user.
2. Put Weights Back Where They Belong
Nothing frustrates gym members more than missing or scattered weights. Re-racking dumbbells, plates, and bars keeps the gym safe and organized.
3. Respect Personal Space
Crowded gyms happen — but avoid hovering too close or staring. Give people room to complete their sets comfortably.
4. Don’t Hog Machines During Peak Hours
Limit long phone breaks and allow others to work in (“share sets”) if the gym is busy. Everyone deserves a chance to use the equipment.
5. Use Headphones & Keep Noise Low
Loud music or dropping weights constantly can disturb others. Be mindful of noise and maintain a respectful workout environment.
Good gym etiquette is simple: Be clean, be kind, be aware. When everyone follows these basic rules, the gym becomes a better place for all.
